Comedian Matt Rife is apologizing to fans for another no-show.
Rife, who is performing on his ProbleMATTic World Tour, was scheduled to take the stage at the IU Auditorium in Bloomington, Indiana, for a pair of shows Wednesday night. However, the stand-up comic revealed on social media that the performances had to be postponed due to unexpected illness.
"I'm so (expletive) sorry, but due to a last minute medical emergency I have to reschedule our shows tonight (again)," Rife wrote on his Instagram Stories. "I've been doing 40+ shows a month for a year and half and never had to do something like this. I’m so, so sorry. I hope you understand, and I love you so much."
While traveling to Indiana for the performances, Rife suffered "extreme exhaustion symptoms and nearly fainted heading to the venue," an email sent to ticket holders read. The comedian has been advised by his medical team to take two weeks off from touring as he recuperates.
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Rife for comment.

Ticket holders will receive a full refund for their purchase, IU Auditorium announced on social media.
The postponement marks the second time Rife has been forced to reschedule his Indiana shows. The comedian was originally scheduled to perform at IU Auditorium on Feb. 14. The shows were later postponed to May due to "an unforeseen conflict in Rife's schedule," according to the Indiana Daily Student.

Known for his comedy specials "Walking Red Flag" and "Natural Selection," Rife kicked off his ProbleMATTic World Tour in July 2023 with a series of sold-out shows. The tour is slated to span over 100 dates with performances across North America, Australia and Europe.
Rife was next scheduled to perform a series of shows at The Chicago Theatre from Thursday through Sunday and Tennessee's Ryman Auditorium from June 6-9, according to the comedian’s official website. Following the comedian's illness, these performances have also been postponed, according to an email sent to ticket holders.
The Chicago Theatre shows have been postponed to Dec. 26-27 and Dec. 29-30, while rescheduled dates for the Ryman Auditorium shows will be announced at a later time, per the email.
Rife is set to resume his tour June 12 with a pair of performances at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee.
